CUBIC INCH formed in 2004 in Hillcrest, Durban, South Africa. From the outset they have been determined and have never let anything get in their way of success. Playing original Contemporary Rock music they are:
JAMES ROBERTSON- (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Music & Lyrics)
Making his mark in the Music industry in 2001, James, at the time with Spoonfeedas, took "King with a crown" to No.7 on 5fm and shortly after leaving "Alone" went to No.1 and "Crumbling In" to No.16 on 5fm. All songs were written by James. "King with a crown" was also voted No.1 song in 2001 by SA Rock Digest.
CHRIS BAME - (Bass and Backing Vocals)
Chris comes from a self taught musical background and after playing as a session musician for over a year on Bass and Guitar Chris joined up with Phil and a female vocalist in 2003 playing original material. Forming CUBIC INCH in 2004 Chris adds his unique flavour to the band.
TRISTAN ANDERSON - (Lead Guitar)
Tristan has studied under master guitarists in America and re-joined the band recently after following a solo career.He is currently teaching guitar.
PHIL HOARE - (Drums)
Phil formed a Progressive Rock band after leaving school and toured around the country playing at packed out venues, he was also involved in the management of the band. Phil went on to study Drumming, Percussion and Management to widen his horizons in the music Industry. After playing with various cover bands he decided to form CUBIC INCH with James and Chris and progress further playing original material.
